In very simple terms, environmental auditing checks environmental performance against environmental policy and objectives.
The manner in which environmental auditing can be done varies enormously and we have established a specialised web site to discuss many of the questions and issues associated with the "how" and "why" of environmental, or indeed non-financial auditing. The site (www.environmentalauditing.co.za) will come on line shortly and will start with a basic framework and grow over time to include other issues, pointers and information. We recommend that you visit the site periodically and explore the information presented.
